HELP! Need help with building a pop-up window

Here's what I am trying to do. I am running a forum with vbulletin software 3.0.8.

I am trying to figure out how to have a pop-up window come up when someone clicks on a post. I want the pop-up to be specific to that post. So I want to be able to code each window with a different pop-up link.

Basically, if there is a post on widgets, I want that post to open and a pop up with info I put in on widgets. Can I do that? Is there code I can put in the post itself that will do it?

I am an admitted n00b and any help would be appreciated.
