Adding Fields To Posting Page

Searched around, but couldn't find anything on this, but is there a way to add an extra from field to the page where you post a thread? Right now it contains two text fields "Title" and "Message". Is there a built in way to ask for another field?

There is no feature to do that for posts. You can do that for calendar events, but that probably doesn't help you.

Ok, too bad, I was hoping there would be one similiar to the user profile fields feature..
