archive to use links

I noticed that any links posted in a thread are not created for the archived pages, only the url.

How do I have the archive display links the same as the forums?

You would need to hack th archive file, the archive is only ment to be a lightweight version of the forums that spiders also like.

I understand that it is for the spiders, which is even more of a reason to allow for active links.

This is something that should have been coded into the admincp as an option to turn on/off. Can you direct me to instructions on how to do so?

No I cannot, in order to do this you will need to get help from vBulletin.org

I do believe that links are not parsed to save it running though the bbcode parsers.
