Choosing styles, altering nav bar

Im new to Vb3 for only 2 days, but I know you can have your users select a certain style or theme from a dropdown using CSS. I like this alot however, is it possible that it can alter the templates as well?

For instance, I was thinking of having my nav bar (i.e User CP, FAQ, Members List, Calender etc) in the default place with 1 style. In the other style, I wanted it in a different location and shorter. This is so my users on my forums can revert back to my older forum style that I used with UBB 6.3

Just create 2 styles and a style dropdown will automatically appear at the bottom of every page, if this is what you are asking.
