    First post in specific forum,

How can I or is it possible to have a newly registered member make their first post in a specific forum such as 'introductions"?. Then after the first post is done they can post to the rest of the forums where ever they like.
Did a search but didn't come across anything.

That would be a hack. Ask over at www.vbulletin.org

    Good luck!

Actually you can do this with usergroup/forum permissions and promotions.

      1. Set the Rgistered usergroup so that he forum permissions allow only posts in the Introduction forum.

      2. Create a new usergroup with the appropriate overall permissions:
Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Add New Usergroup

      3. Create a Promotion to promote users that have at least one post to that group:
Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Promotions
