How to get rid of the 'reason edited'

Not the Edited By, just the reason!

Is there some way to set this by group or kill it without doing script or template edits (Admin Only Option), I have been looking for it but can not find it anywhere!

This is a Usergroup setting. Changing this is not retroactive to posts that already contain this though.

Hey Steve, could I add, via template modification, a "Moved by" message? Instead of saying "Reason for edit", it would say "moved by" and include the name of the mod that moved it.

I want them to be able to edit their posts, just not have access to the REASON option!

Then shut it off via the USERGROUP MANAGER in your AdminCP.

Again, I just want to display the lasted edited by..., not allow for the REASON option.

Edit your POSTBIT and POSTBIT_LEGACY templates.
