Views count for multi attachments?

Does the attachment views option only appear for single attachments?

I've just noticed we have a post with 2 attachments but the "views" count is not displayed.

Also, .bmp's do not show as thumbnails,are they not a supported thumbnail format ?

Try this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Update Thread Views Immediately -> Yes

Also thumbnail for .bmps are not supported as far as I know. If this is possible, then the GD support in PHP needs to include this.

Do you mean Attachment Views not Thread views ??

Either way i've tried both options and still no joy.

The Views work fine for single attachments,but when there is more than one attachment they don't seem to be displayed.

Works on mine, for multiple attachments. Have you modified any code, or changed any of the related templates?

I don't believe attachment views work with post containing multiple attachments.

Edit: Based on conqsoft's posts they should work but I could not get this to work on my unhacked 3.0.7 test forum.

Ahh i think i see what the problem is.

I am using thumbnails,so presumably the "views" count only works for linked attachments ?

No, mine are thumbnails too. Guests can't view attachments, so that's why you see them as links.

The updating of views would not change based on the number of attachments in a post. Each image view is an unique view of image.php which increments the counter (assuming a cached image is not returned).

I just viewed our board as a guest and the linked attachments do indeed show "views" however as i have stated previously,when logged in,the "views" do not show with the thumbnails.

Hover your mouse over one of the thumbnails. Do you not see Views listed in the tooltip that pops up?
