Advanced Search problem

I have a question that I feel stupid asking because I have this strange feeling that the problem was cause by me.

The question is this: The drop down seach mene on the navbar. I can search from the general box with no problems but when I click on the 'advanced search' all I get is a blank white page. What do I need to take a look at to figure out whats wrong? I've already replace the search.php file.

Make sure the search template is in good condition.
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Your Style > Search Templates > search_forums

If that's blank or broken, revert it to restore it (assuming you want a default-looking page).
