    Attachments and the database

My MySQL database is 410+Mb at the moment, the attachments take up 250Mb.
So I am wondering is there is a way to:
    1. Delete all attachments without getting errors in vB
    2. To save future attachments in a directory on the server instead of inside the database
    3. Transform thecurrent attachments (250Mb) to images outside the database
    Thanks in advance!

Look at the Attachment Storage Type option under Attachments in AdminCP. It allows you to move attachments out of the database, and onto the drive.

Thanks! Worked great, one question though:

if I switch hosts, will I be fine with a backup of the attachment directory and a backup of the database (after the conversion)?
