Paid Subscription expiration, does it send an email?

First off, love the vb3 subscription system. Saves tones of time, thank you!

Now my question, when a users subscription expires, does VB automaticaly send out an email reminder to let them know? If so, where can I edit that email?

Also, does a user receive a email notification when they successfuly subscribe?

    Thanks

A reminder is sent between 2 and 3 days before a subscription expires. You can edit the email in your:

Admin CP -> Languages & Phrases -> Search in Phrases

Search for "paidsubscription_reminder" in the Phrase Variable Name Only. Edit the matching phrase under the Email Body Text category and enter your translation.

Yes, they should receive a confirmation email from their payment processor.

        reminder email

Where can I lengthen the timeframe for the reminder email to be sent?

Two days seems too short to me - would like to give my subscribers a week or two heads-up rather then a day or two.

This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Is there a phrase that sends a thank you email directly from the site when a member uses the subscription service? I use the PM, but a custom email would be better.

vBulletin only sends an email when a subscription is about to expire.

I've set this up so that a paying user can store up to 200 PMs, while the non-paying user can have 50 PMs stored. What would happen to the PMs if a paying user has, f.ex. 150 PMs stored, and does not update his/her subscription? Would the user lose the 100 newest PMs, or what?

                  Thanks,
                  Jules

No, the existing PMs will not be automatically removed. However the user will not be able to send or receive any new PMs until they remove the excess ones.
