How do I delete a Forum without deleting all the sub-forums?

I need to delete a forum, but I do not want to delete the sub-forums. I am in the Admin Control Panel under Forum Manager. When I attempt to delete the forum that I want to delete, it informs me that by doing so, I will delete any sub-forums. How can I do what I am trying to do without deleting the sub-forums?

Is there a way to make the sub-forum into a free standing forum before deleting the parent forum?

Never mind, I figured it out. All I had to do was select a forum and then go to the parent forum area and select "No one" as the Parent Forum. Well, lets hope that was the right way.
