Need Answer, taking a long time to post

On our forums it takes the message posting box a long time to come up to where it is able to post a message, it is greyed out for like 45 seconds. Anyone know why this is?

Have you tried just using the plain text box instead of the WYSIWYG editor? If that loads a lot faster, then maybe it's the java editor. I noticed certain part of my site is loading slightly slower with additional javascripting.

server load should be minimal. It is not a high traffic site or anything. I will check on the WYSIWYG part, thanks

The WYSIWYG editor always does this, if you disable it, it'll load instantly.. but you wont have the features.. doesnt matter much though.
