I already tried this. It does not put the " Forum is Closed for Posting" icon in the forum listing like it is suppose to. All it does is stop new threads from being posted, you can still reply to existing threads. I want to close that one forum from posting all together. I know in the older versions of VB there use to be a CLOSED icon you use to be able to click on and it would close the forum from anyone posting all together and put the closed icon on the forum listing.
So what's up?Comment

That definitely should work. Have you installed any hacks?Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

I just installed a brand new fresh version of 3.07 on my test site and there is no place to close one of the forums for posting. Like I said this is a new version with no hacks at all in it. Am I missing something here? I can send you my user name and password for this forum and you can have a look. But I see no icon to click on to close the forum from posting.
When a forum is closed for posting it is suppose to put this icon in front of the forum name:
I know there was an CLOSE icon in the older version of VB.Comment
