Subject pretty much stated it.

How do I turn off the new version annoucement in ADMIN CP?

I can't, at this time allot the proper time to upgrade ( I simply replaced the init.php file). I'd like my admin CP to remove the new version announcement. I know it's available, I'd like the space on the page back.

That code is in the PHP files. Because this involves editing the files, I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org, the official vB hacking site.

Okay.. will do.

Feature request then.... the ability to disregard vb announcements in the admin CP. it may be months before I can upgrade, if I even bother. So why ruin the admin CP with a rather large area that's not needed.
