I have a sql dump that's about a gig in size but when I try to isert it into a new database the server crashes. I've used PHPMyAdmin to 'check' the database and I have ( I believe ) every table's name so is there a way to insert these tables into the new database from this single dump or should I export them table by table and then insert them?
Also I'm somewhat unsure about the syntax to execute these operations.
For the table named ACCESS is this the correct way to export the table to a file called access.sql?
mysqldump --opt -u UNSERNAME -p PASSWORD DATABASE_NAME.access > access.sql
What would be the syntax to insert this table into the new database?
Thanks in advance!!
