    Post attachment limits

    Hello,

    I have a question, how do I modify vB to not have a limit or have a limit of 800Kb per file? currently I get

    Manage Attachments
    Upload Errors
    1_building.gif:
    File Too Large. Limit for this filetype is 39.1 KB. Your file is 102.5 KB.

    Thanks

    There are three places to check.

    AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Message Attachment Options
    -There's a setting for the overall attachment disk space that can be used by the whole site.

    AdminCP->Attachments->Extensions & Sizes
    -You can set a limit per extension/file type.

    AdminCP->Usergroups
    -You can limit the total attachment space by usergroup.

      Thanks that did the trick, too bad you can't disable them, you must have them turned ON and just put none for size limit and the other stuff.

        You can disable certain extensions if you don't want people to attach that type. If you don't want to have a size limit, just put in a really high number. But, PHP post/upload settings will limit you too, depending on your server configuration.
