Moderators permissions - usergroups

Hello, I need some help on these moderator permissions, now if I add users
as moderators in Forum Manger everything works fine, but I want to use
usergroups.

I want to add a moderator usergroup (I have now) set the permissions for
that groups to mod permissions (I have done) and add the users to the
moderator groups, but it doesn't work

Do I have to add each moderator to a forum, like I did first or can I do it
as I said above with permissions

You need to add them as moderators in the Forum Manager.

The Moderators usergroup is there so you can group your moderators and assign them separate forum permissions. That group does not grant moderator powers.

The Super Moderators usergroup is different in that it has the Can Moderate All Forums setting enabled which grants moderator powers in all forums.
