Contact Us Email Address

I've changed the contact email address, but it is still showing as the old one.

I'm sure this is something simple, anyone got any ideas ?

That's strange. I tested this on my unhacked test forum and had the same problem. After changing the Webmaster email address, it continued to use the old addesss. This must be cached somewhere.

I suggest posting this in the Bug Tracker so a Dev can have a look.

Hi Steve! Yup it's me again, don't panic. Everything is running great, come check it out. I have the same problem with the email as well, thought I would let you know. No big deal, I am sure you guy's will figure it out. Thanx again!

If so, the email address shown there is your email address.

Freddie, do you mean the Webmaster's email address? If not, then where else would it get this address from? When I changed the webmaster's address on my unhacked test forum the contact us address did not change, which is why I was wondering if this is cached somewhere.

Click the Contact Us link on this forum and you will see your email address (if you are logged in), not the webmaster. Perhaps there is confusion because Paul (I'm guessing here) has the email address of [email protected] on his Admin account and so that is why he continues to see the email address.

Simply put, the address you see is the FROM email adress, not the TO.
