    Signatures

    Hi,
Some of the members on my forum have recently placed large images in their signature space - full sized postcard images to be exact.

I know that memebers can turn off the viewing of signatures, and that the ammount of text contained can be limited, but is there a way to either totally prevent images or their size?

    regards.

You can't limit the size, but you can remove this ability:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Profile Options -> Allow [IMG] Code in Signatures -> No
Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

        This is a forum option:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Allow [IMG] Code -> No
Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

Is there any way to limit images in signatures by user group?

This is a standard Usergroup permission:

            Can Use Signatures

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

Yes, I know, that wasn't what I was asking about.

I'm sorry if I am using incorrect posting etiquette. Should I start a new thread to ask if there is a way to restrict images in signatures by user group using conditionals?

My bad. It may be possible with conditionals but I don't know for sure. Here is the online documentation for using template conditionals:

Is vBulletin the only software that accepts if conditionals? Or is that a standard php feature.

I couldn't find php documentation for it at php.net...

AFAIK this is vB-specific - at least our version of it is.

Steve - could you do this for me? I would appreciate it a ton.

                      Thanks.

No sorry. As I said I don't know if this can be done or not.
