    Email Privs for Moderators

    Hi, I'm trying to find out how to add Email privs to moderators, i.e. I need to add "Email Users" to the Mod CP. Is this possible?

      privileges. I need mods to be allowed to email users, if it's available. If not I guess I need to add some very restricted admins.

          Mass email, the same option as is found in Admin under "Send Email to Users", I'm trying to find out how to enable that option for Moderators in the Mod CP

            You cannot, they would need to be adminstrators with the users permission, which would give them access to all actions in the user menu.

                very restricted? No, well compared to vB2, yes, but not at the level you want, In vB2 an admin had full access. Now its down to the menu level permissions.

                I would guess that you could go about setting what you want up, but not by default, i suggest trying to ask at vBulletin.org.

                  You can set up and restrict Admin Permissions here:

                  Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions

                  You may need to make yourself a Super Admin in order to do this. Edit this section of config.php:

                  // ****** SUPER ADMINISTRATORS ******
                  // The users specified below will have permission to access the administrator permissions
                  // page, which controls the permissions of other administrators
                  $superadministrators = 'x';

                  ...and replace x with your userid (not user name.)
