Email Verification not working for addresses on same Domain

My vBulletin v3.03 is not sending out verification emails to people who have an email address at my domain www.deserttrance.com

I believe it may have something to do with the fact that our MX records for our email are not on the same host as out storage space. We are using Everyone.net to provide free webmail accounts to our users.

Is there some way that I can modify a script to get around this? I'm on the verge of reopening the site to our 3000+ daily visitors and I just discovered this quite major problem since a good majority of our users also use our deserttrance.com email.

I don't think there is any way to modify vB to compensate for this server issue. However you can try asking over at vbulletin.org.

The best option would be to have your host configure the server to allow these emails.

Has this error occurred before or does it sound like my guess as to the problem could be correct? If I'm correct I guess I have no other choice than to move everything to a different domain name. Is this a major problem? I've never moved a database before.

Yes, this error occurs on improperly configured servers. The best option is still to have your host fix this problem.
