    Japanese Forum Considerations

    Hi there,

Is it possible to set up a separate forum that uses a different language? In this case, the different language is Japanese.

I have a number of Japanese members in my community so I'd like to offer them a forum to call their own where they can discuss in their native language. This new forum would need to have it's own Japanese skin and language pack but aside from that, are there any further considerations?

I'm not worried about translations, this will be one forum in an already established English installation.

How about text encoding, will that be a problem?

Sorry for the newb questions, haven't dealt with multi-lingual solutions before

You can certainly setup a separate style for this forum. However the Language Pack itself is forum wide.

Have you checked out the vBulletin Languages forum for some helpful advice?
