custom template problem.

i am unable to add a custom template.

i went to the template manager and then say add new template. i added a template call "test_template" and put "testing" in it

and then in forumdisplay template, i added:

  foo
  $test_template
  bar

i saw the foo and bar but no "testing" text appears nor any of the BEGIN/END template tags.

i saw the template test_template in the custom template group so it should've been added succesfully.

anybody know what i could've done wrong? i am using vb3.0.1

Jiust adding a custom template, does just that, there is nothing saying in any file that the varible $test_template will appear in any template.

You must either add code to the phpinclude_start or directly to the file.
