As long as they are under the same installation and database, yes you can do this. However if you want two entirely separate instances of vB, this requires two licenses.

You could install the Dutch language pack aside the English language pack.
And make 2 usergroups for your forum, one for users who can publicly join the dutch usergroup, and the default usergroup.

If someone joins the dutch usergroup, it won't show the english forums, and if they are in the default usergroup, they won't see the dutch forums.

      Just a tought

It's exactly the same forum only with 2 languages. Same sections, members etc..
        How can I do this?

That's a great idea! How I have to arrange that with the other things I will solve than wihh the other admin.
        Maybe I'll do that!

But still a little problem I'm affraid. It's a forum for the most internet n00bies you can imagine too. I'mm affraid the procedure for select the usergroup etc. is a little hard for them. I'll see then.
        Thank you.

When they join they will be members of say your English user group. But your Dutch user group is an open group, which they can request to join themselves, thus putting them intot the dutch category, and seeing your dutch forums. Or you could manually do it, if you wanted to just move people.

The site must be accesabele for Dutch n00bies too so the main langua will be Dutch.
                But now.

When the register they see only the Dutch forums. I'll write a little manual how to do join an usergrouop and than they see both fora?
I guess it isn't possobiel to see OR Enlgish OR Dutch?

before the page goes to your forums, you could have a Redirect, where the user would select to go to the English Forums, or the Dutch Forums. Just a simple html page or summit

I have some idea's for the forums and links, and the redirect too I guess. I'll take a look if that's the solution.

Can you explain the question? It's not all that clear to me what you are asking.

                            Ok, I tested it out.

When I, as admin, do a join request I'm directly member of that group. Will this be the case with all members?

And it's a secondary group. I want to have that members who join get that group as primary group OR that it can be done with a few simple mouseclicks in the ACP. Such as promotion but than for secondary to primary promotion.

I'll try to explain but my english isn''t very best. There it goes.

When a members joins a public usergroup he's member of that groep with his SECONDARY settings.

                              I have 2 things I want
First; I want that when a member clicks on join usergroup that there have to be an administrator validation at "join requests". Currently they are ammidiatly member of that group but I want to have an admin "stop" between it.

second; I want so promote them to their primary group. It's nice that the group they joined is their SECUNDAIRY group but I want to have that it's their PRIMARY group. But I can't promote them from secondary X to primary X (where X is the name of the usergroup).

(another question, what can groupleaders do more than the rest)
