    vB Mail function

    Hi,

I didn't know where else I can place this thread, so if it isn't the right place, feel free to move it.

I have a problem with a form mail script. Event though I give it a "from" eMail address it always shows up in the eMail as "WWW Apache Daemon".

Now I noticed, that if I send an eMail over the vB-Administration, whatever eMail address I enter there shows up exactly the same in the eMail.

Now I thought, maybe someone here can point me in the direction how vB handles the mail command, so I can use it similar in my form script.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey, seems like you're in a hurry

Have a look at the vbmail function in the /includes/functions.php file

Will let you know if this helps.

EDIT: My first respone was in regarding to an answer that is deleted now. Sorry for the confusion.

BTW, you will get more help if you ask at the official coding forum (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/).
