Is your admincp/template.php file chmoded to 644 ?

Yea. I can successfully edit other templates. Just seems to be this one giving me the problems.

Hmm, I believe it is something within the template code that is giving me problems.... I can successfully revert the template... But say I take the original template code... And paste it over the code in there... Even if it IS the same code, it won't let me save it. It gives me that error...

If you revert it and it's in default, you can edit it without problems?

If yes --> What changes did you make to the template, or are you trying to make.
After what changes does the error occur.

No, not even if I revert I still cannot edit it with problems. It act's like it does not want to accept any type of code.

I was giving an example. I can click the revert button, and it will successfully revert the template. Now, say after it's reverted to its original state. I can click to Edit the template... Not change one thing. At all. Just leave the original revert code in there. If I click save.. It will still give me that error, even if I didn't change anything....at all.

Have you installed any hacks (including portals) or added any code to the headinclude, header or phpinclude templates? If not, fill out a support ticket at:

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP. If you have installed hacks or added code, then remove the hacks first then check and see if you still have this problem. If so, leave the default vB files in place and fill out the support request.
