I'm getting this error message

Several people are getting this error message when no images are being used

You have included too many images in your signature or in your previous post. Please go
back and correct the problem and then continue again.
Images include use of smilies, the vB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of
these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

Hmm...I don't see how that is possible. Remember smilies and images in the sig count againt this toital.

Will copying from word cause problems? People do that for the spell checker.


Also, what can I do to increase things so this message doesn't appear. I have tried uping totals to no avail.

Yes, that could definitely be the problem. MS Word includes a lot of hidden garbage.

You can change the image total here:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Maximum Images Per Post/Signature
