    Pruning A Large Board

I've been up & running for four years. I've never pruned the board and have around 160,000 posts. Anyway, I want to prune off threads that are at least two years old.

Using the Date Options field made me have some questions.

First, do I have to use all four fields for it to work?

What would you put into the these fields if you wanted to remove all threads made at least 700 days ago that had a last post date of at least 700 days ago as well?

Original post date is at least X days ago x

Original post date is at most X days ago x

Last post date is at least X days ago x

Last post date is at most X days ago x

The at most part has that default thing of zero and it got me concerned that I might be blowing out threads that I still want and there is no undo here so I want to be careful...

No, you don't have to use all 4 fields.

To do what you want, use these values:

Original post date is at least X days ago x = 700
Original post date is at most X days ago x = 0
Last post date is at least X days ago x = 700
Last post date is at most X days ago x = 0

    That should work. Backup first.
