How do I manually add birthdays (not members) in the Calendar so they include the birthday cake icon?

I like the calendar of event module. Is there anyway to also include birthdays in that as well, so it can show events and birthdays together? What code would I insert for that to happen. -

I had the idea to have the birthday of my members in the community calendar and I would like to know how to do it without having to create events.
