Missing New Thread Button?

I just upgraded from 3rc4 to 3.0!

The New Thread button seems to be missing when I view froums (as well as others from different user groups), and I can't find out why. c.c The forums allow users to start new threads, and the usergroups also allow users to start new threads. I haven't ever edited anything having to deal with the forum display files, so I don't think I deleted it myself.

Help would be much appreciated! <3

Youve uploaded the new graphics? (if you deleted the old ones) and you reverted any nessary templates?

Yeah, everything that could be reverted was reverted and all of the graphics are uploaded! It's just not displaying at all.

registration is currently closed, but you should be able to see everything in the Important and Orientation Categories, and guest posting is allowed in the Just Visiting Forums...

Open your forumdisplay template and find

replace everything between
<!-- controls above thread list -->
<!-- / controls above thread list -->

with this

Does this apply to 3.7.4 as well I finally got my front page looking right but no new post notices, I guess I am missing something at the bottom also (see cut and paste that didn't show up when I posted but did in original ) shouldn't there be something to put up next to forums to inform members about new posts other than this........
Contains New Posts Contains No New Posts A Closed Forum !!!! these links it changed my C&P to do not work delete everything after /forum and it works but you all probably know that.......

Sorry about this question here I was following link in extreampixels FAQ I guess this is something they need to address since this only happens with their skin and when I posted it was not looking where I was at ......
