    What a Turn Off.....

    I'm hoping this is a simple one: How do I turn off signatures? Is this in my control panel options? Been looking for it but no luck so far.

    I just looked at a vB2 ACP and it doesnt look like it, if you dont want signatures you will need to edit the postbit template and remove the signature area.

      Sooooo easy. Thanks Zachery, I had just figured this out and come back to post and saw your reply. Many Thanks! Anyone else interested in doing this I just made the following simple change:

      Found the original code in the postbit_signature template:
      Code:
      <p><normalfont>__________________<br>
      $post[signature]</normalfont></p>

      • .
      • Changed it to:
        <!--

        <p><normalfont>__________________<br>
        $post[signature]</normalfont></p>

        -->

        In vBulletin 3 this can be turned off by editing usergroup permissions.
