adding users to usergroup

Is there any way to add users to a usergroup quickly, without going to each individual user's profile and checking the box for that group?

You could use the 'Move' function in the Users section of the Admin CP. Otherwise you'll need to do this manually.

I only need to move one or two users at a time to a new "paid users group" How is this accomplished?

Well I figured it out earlier today before I saw your quote.

Besides "Otherwise you'll need to do this manually." does not really explain to me HOW to do it, other than the manually part, but thanks anyway.
