How do I ban attempts by automated GUESTS looking for info???

    How do I ban attempts by automated GUESTS looking for info???

    Here's what my who's-online looks all the time:

    This automated GUEST is on our boards 24/7 trying to crack our private forums, and getting into our public forums.

    How I can stop this?

    thats a bot

    put the attached file to your servers root.
    (the folder were normally all files and other folders are stored)
    It is working for me, the bot didn't come back.

        Yeah... that inktomisearchbot has been all over my board for the last month too... an average of 15 bots per day, one day as many as 40, last night we had 25 some of them. Bloody annoying.
