Failed Download of 2.3.0

When attempting to download the latest version of vB from the members area I end up downloading a file/folder called: "vbulletin230 Release Candidate 3.zip" which is an empty folder.

Occasionally it tries to download an empty file named download.php, which I assume is the script that should be setting me up with the other file. Is this (somehow ) a problem at my end or does something need to be corrected?

Are you running Norton or another Anti-Virus/Firewall program? If so, disable it for a second and try the download again.

Thanks for the hint. It didn't get a squawk from the file wall, so wouldn't have thought it blocked the transfer.

Ok i have had problems downloading the zip for a client this week. After him giving me his member info i go to download the file and it downloads fine but then when i open it it gets halfway through extracting and then gives errors. After about 5 tries of downloading it eventually worked ok.
