How to fix Login - 404 error message?

On the login screen when I try to login it gives me a 404 error message, how do I fix this?

    Any help would be excellent.

    Thank you,

Have you edited any of the files or login templates?

Because you really shouldn't have a problem if you haven't done this.

I just typed in a random username and password into your forums and it submitted fine... member.php told me my login was incorrect.

Might have been the host having short server troubles, so when you tried to log in the server failed and you was taken to the 404 page...

Works fine for me. I just get the "Invalid Username" message.

I did it on the forum and on your home page too.

Still no 404 error. I am using the login form at the bottom of this page - http://www.dss-canada.com/forums/index.php

How can you expect us to know exactly which page to go to?

The reason why, and it should of been fairly obvious to you to as it does tell you. Is because you have forums/forums/member.php as the login part on that form. YOU'VE edited that page and YOU'VE made the error Go to your templates section and click search. Search for this This is a PEAK TIME and access to this site the template with that will show. Now on that edit template page input into the search box forums/forums/ and delete ONE instance of forums.

                      All done

Is your error_nopermission_loggedout template customized? If so, try reverting it.
