    Invalid Sessionhash Error when Voting in Poll

    Hi,

    One of my members says he is getting a error message that says:

    The action you have attempted could not be performed as your session appears to be invalid. Click the below link to attempt this action again with a new session.

    Then, when he clicks the link for a new session he gets this error message:

    No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster.

    I checked poll.php and this was the line that checks for the error:
    PHP Code:
      if ($s!=$session['dbsessionhash']) {

    $newurl replacesession($scriptpath);
        eval(
    "standarderror(\"".gettemplate("error_invalidsession")."\");");
      }
    Does anyone know how to correct this? I had him logout and log back in with 0 luck. He has both cookie options on vB enabled and I'm running vB 2.2.5 and haven't upgraded yet because I have a lot of hacks installed right now.

    This is a known problem with AOLers and earlier versions of vB. You need to upgrade to 2.2.9 to fix this.
