reverting back to 2.2.6 from 2.2.9

I've had a few problems with 2.2.9 and would like to go back to 2.2.6.

waits for the 'not possible' response

grab your sql backup of 2.2.6, dump the tables from your db, reupload the 2.2.6 php files, restore the sql backup from 2.2.6

you do loose any new threads/posts/members since ya upgraded from 2.2.6 tho

2.2.9 messed up dot icons for the forums

it's now taking 10x to 1000x longer to generate a page on forumdisplay.php

i guess i won't be downgrading. we've make a few changes and have had a few hundered thousand posts since the upgrade.

We don't officially support downgrading. You will need to use a database backup from before the upgrade.

Try running a "repair" on all your vBulletin tables. That happened to me once after I did an upgrade, and repairing all the tables fixed it.
