1.Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Thread display options -> Number of characters before wrapping -> xxx
Change 'xxx' to whatever number you want.

tried both of those, didnt work
it seems that its trying make the linikwith like 3 urls in it, one being a relative path on MY desktop...i cant udnerstand...i havent had a problem like this yet and it just started doing it to ALL links, not just that one link...

The problem is in your hacked functions.php file. In particular this line:
return "<a href=../My%20Documents/s10owners/vBulletin/12693cd5.229/upload/admin//%22$righturl/%22 target=
\"_blank\">".str_replace('\"', '"', $hyperlink)."</a>";
