    E-mail button not showing up

    <a href="member.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=getinfo&userid=$post[userid]"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/viewprofile.gif" width="67" height="20" border="0"></a>$post[pmlink]$post[useremail]$post[userhomepage]<a href="search.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=finduser&userid=$post[userid]"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/viewposts.gif" width="68" height="20" border="0"></a><a href="member2.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=addlist&userlist=buddy&userid=$post[userid]"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/addtobuddylist.gif" width="107" height="20" border="0"></a></td>
    <td align="right" background="customimages/newpostbit/prebuttons.gif"><a href="editpost.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=editpost&postid=$post[postid]"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/editdelete.gif" width="71" height="20" border="0"></a><a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/quote.gif" width="49" height="20" border="0"></a>

...is a snippet of code from a new postbit I'm designing. However regardless of a user's e-mail setting, I never see an e-mail button show up.

    My postbit_useremail template:

    <a href="member.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=mailform&userid=$post[userid]" target="_blank"><img src="customimages/newpostbit/buttons/email.gif" border="0" alt="Click Here to Email $post[username]"></a>

Do you have email functions enabled in the board settings?

Admin CP » Options » vBulletin Options » [User and registration options] » Display email addresses -> Set it to YES

        That was it, thanks, Nuno

        After looking at the option:
        Display email addresses
Allow public viewing of email addresses.
It implies that the actual e-mail addresses will be displayed, but reading the description for the Use Mail Form option says otherwise. Maybe it should be re-worded to:
        Display email addresses
Allow users to send e-mail to each other via the forums.
Just a suggestion to the devs
