Moderators ban

On our forum we like to let moderators ban and they can access the control panel for mods, see the "ban" option and proceeding...but when the final button is clicked, this: "You may not ban someone who is not a normal registered user!
"

How can i change this??

That happens when a moderator tries to ban a member that is a mod/super mod or admin.

It should work on normal members

Well...i've registered a new testmember with the name "testreg" and this is a normal registered member. I've invited the mods to ban testreg but they get that message. (???)

They shouldn't. Make absolutely sure that this user is in the 'Registered' user group.

I know that it should but look:

Mods can not ban this user..or other registered users.

Did you give each of your Mods permission to ban users?

Forums & Moderators -> Modify -> {Moderator name} [edit] Moderator Permissions -> Can ban users from board -> Yes

Yes but not all moderators. The moderators that can ban can't ban....and they who can't can not. Maybe all moderators must have that enabled, i don't know. I shall try it.

Actually this should work for any Moderator that has this enabled.
