Persistent Email Notifications despite changing settings

I'm having the same problem that this person had:

I keep getting New Post/Thread notifications for all posts... despite not having this configured.

What made me finally notice it is that I've changed my email address... but they keep coming to the old address. I've looked for a reference to my old email address and also browsed through the database thinking maybe it didn't change the actual values... but I still couldn't find my email.

Where does it get the email address for the New Post/Thread notification for the webmaster?

Forums & Moderators -> Modify . Edit each forum's settings and you should see two boxes about email notifications. Simply remove your email from there.
