Strange Problem

I am still using v2.2.2, yes, I'm reluctant to upgrade. But anyways, today my forum started acting strange. Whenever someone replies to a post, it doesn't show the reply in the thread list, its like no one ever posted in it. here is an example...

Joe's Thread, 4 replies, Dakota replies...

Is it a specific forum or all forums?

I fixed it, just did the thread updater, and everything seems to be working fine, but there is one other problem.

About every two weeks, attachments and delete stop working. to fix it I have to repair the post table. Anyone know what might be causing it, or a way to prevent it?

If i remember correctly its due to a memory issue with mysql, there isnt enough memory allocated and issues occur with the table and it gets corrupted. So running the repair sorts this.

You need to increase the memory allocation in my.cnf, though I can't remember to what one, george will probably know this.
