    Template Modification Terribly FUBAR

    OK, I'm going about my business, when a forum user asks me to add an image or something to the header template. I'm like OK, sounds cool. So I log into the admin section, and click on Modify under Templates. I get a page full of [change original] links, and then Expand links don't work correctly. When I click on one of the [change original] links, it shows nothing; all fields are blank.

    I have no idea how this happened, it simply quit working this morning. Anyway, I'm using vBulletin 2.2.5, Apache 1.3.22, PHP 4.2.0. Please help.

    TIA.

      There are known compatibility issues between all versions of vB and PHP 4.20. Please read this announcement:

      Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

        It's on

        Well, I'll just move back to 4.12 for now. Thanks for your help!

          My users are having the same problem, and I made sure that
          register_globals is on

          Code:
          ; Whether or not to register the EGPCS variables as global variables. You may
          ; want to turn this off if you don't want to clutter your scripts' global scope
          ; with user data. This makes most sense when coupled with track_vars - in which
          ; case you can access all of the GPC variables through the $HTTP_*_VARS[],
          ; variables.
          ;
          ; You should do your best to write your scripts so that they do not require
          ; register_globals to be on; Using form variables as globals can easily lead
          ; to possible security problems, if the code is not very well thought of.
          register_globals = On

            If you have register_globals turned on and are still having problems with vB and PHP 4.20, please fill out a Support form with a detailed explanation of the errors and with the info needed to access your Admin CP and FTP:
