    Search Problem

    I'm running a board at http://forum.pcmech.com.

A user has pointed out to me that when they try to search by username without entering a search term, they get an error:

Warning: MySQL: Unable to save result set in /usr/www/users/path/pathname/forum/admin/db_mysql.php on line 93

There seems to have been a slight problem with the PC-Media Tech Forums database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

Then it proceeds to give mea Invalid SQL query.

    Any ideas?

I just did a search like this on your forums and there was no problem. What was the complete contents of that error message?

No, its still doing it. Go to my search page, then type in "drisley" for the username. Do not type any search terms in for the keywords. Then, search by the username. You'll see the error.

Anyone else? I have no doubt you're doing the wrong thing. I just tried again, and its still doing it. And this is server-side, so my browser isn't going to be a factor.

Doesn't make any sense. Would my membership make a difference?

I tried it again and this time I got the error. By the way it would have been helpfukl if you had posted the contents of the error message like I asked in my first post. From the page source:

Will give it a try. Should I shut the forum down while I do it? Its a fairly busy forum.

Yes, it's best to shutdown the forum first. Good luck!
