    I get a weird error when some one trys to make a new post or reply

    There seems to have been a slight problem with the XXXX database.
    Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

    Database error in vBulletin 2.2.4:

    Invalid SQL: REPLACE INTO searchindex (wordid,postid,intitle) VALUES (4550,4665,0),(5993,4665,0),(3318,4665,0)
    mysql error: Can't open file: 'searchindex.MYD'. (errno: 145)

    mysql error number: 1016

    Do you know how to run your myisamchk utility? If so, I would suggest doing so. Basically you just shutdown MySQL and go into your database directory. Then type

    myisamchk *.MYI

    That's how I do it. If there are errors, then run

    myisamchk -r *.MYI

    Then restart MySQL

    That will fix them, and hopefully your browser error will go away also.

      you have a corrupted table

      you need to upload repair.php from your vB zip file to your /admin directory and run this url

      yourdomain.com/admin/repair.php?html=1&check=1
