Bit of a strange one this - directly after putting 2.2.2 on pages started being loaded more slowly.
Checking on the server load is quite low (avg 1.5) and we have about 20% cpu free, which is actually a little unusual (we tend to max out at busy periods).
So we have server capacity (judging by how responsive FTP and Shell access is the server is truly fine) yet pages are painfully slow - it's taking over 15 seconds to pull up a forum when before with the same number of users it would be more like 3-5 seconds.
The forums are at http://forums.overclockers.co.uk and if anyone could suggest how I can fix this I'd be very appreciative!
ps. the only 'hack' we have is that we've replaced your gifs with some coloured smilies and icons - pretty much totally vanilla forums.
