    strange error mysql error number: 2006

    Hi, i get everyday mysql errors, this errormail is about 1 MB big an has to do with search i do not post the whole mail it´s too big but an snapshot :

    i´m on an dedicated dual PIII 1000 with 1 GB Ram, php 4.06 and newest mysql. I dead make an update of counters and everything but still get this error everyday twice or more. What is the Problem ?

    mysql error: MySQL server has gone away

    As it says. Maybe your box is set up to automatically restart MySQL on a regular basis.

        you can try and look at your mysql.err error log in your mysql data directory for clues as to why mysql went down

            no it's not named mysql.err exactly it's located in your mysql data directory and named normally as

            servername.err

            where servername is the name of your server

              no i deleted all logfiles to get fresh ones and made an reboot, after reboot i get
