users in forum

The feature, that show the users that are browsing the forum..... is this correct that the query runs through the whole user-table since 2.2.1?

This feature has been included since 2.2.0
it adds another column to the users table which stores the forumid they are currently browing.

the variable $onlineusers is used in the forumdisplay template to show this.

but in 2.2.0 it´s updated in the shutdown-function
Now the query makes sure, that the current user is shown there. And that´s it, why the query is "losing" the index.
