i would say that yes, it's possible however... i'd guess that it would be extreemly difficult... especially since 2.20 uses encrypted passwords... a revert to 2.0.3 would require either a) md5 passwd hack on 2.0.3 or b) all users to change thier password or c) all users to learn the md5 hash of thier passwd -
No.
Unless you have aa backup for 2.0.3 just restore that and upload the 2.0.3 files.
However, all the posts and threads, members etc will be gone since that backup was made.Email: [email protected]

I'm willing to lose 10 days worth of posts. That would total close to at least 10,000. This 2.2.0 is way to buggy for me to work with. No offense developers, but this should have been released in beta first.Comment

2.2.1 is being released soon that will contain bug fixes - hang around for that before you decide to revert back.Email: [email protected]

A new version, 2.2.1 is due to be released soon.
It will fix all current bugs.
Bear in mind (almost) all bugs in 2.2.0 also exist in 2.0.3, we don't create new bugs unless they are in the new features that were added.Comment

If you are getting 1,000 posts a day, wait at least a month before installing any new release of vBulletin.
That's way too much change to risk a new version install.
Let someone else debug the release. Putting your forums at risk with that kind of volume is just plain silly in my opinion.
I wait for at least a week, and I don't get anywhere near that much activity on my forums. Not only do I wait, but I carefully follow all the bug reports, and upgrade issues people have, carefully weighing my options and the risks involved in an upgrade.
The first to put in any new release will pay for the privlege by finding whatever slipped through the testing process.

You've got to be kidding me. There is plenty of fixes needed for 2.2.0. I know of a situation that affects all 2.2.0. Doesn't affect performance. Just doesn't work. It's fixed in 2.2.1.Last edited by Hooper; Mon 12 Nov '01, 1:19pm.Comment
