Parse Errors popping up out of nowhere...

Yesterday afternoon, a parsing error reared its head:

    Code:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '~' in /home/.boots/username/forums.interbasket.net/index.php on line 19
When my host cleaned up this code, another parsing error showed up:

    Code:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/.boots/username/forums.interbasket.net/index.php on line 71
And that is currently where I sit. Any reason why this is happening? I haven't touched the code (nor should I) nor added any mods/plugins in the last year... any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's either a mod, or your host upgraded PHP and/or MySQL to newer versions that are not compatible with vB2.

Please note that vB2 is legacy and no longer supported. I strongly recommend that you upgrade asap.

Steve, thanks for the reply. It's time for me to update my vbulletin for sure. I've placed an order to renew my license...

        Dear Steve,

I've upgraded my Vbulletin and I am having the same parse appear:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '~' in /home/.boots/user/forums.interbasket.net/index.php on line 19

        Any ideas?
